Please join us for a benefit concert featuring local pianist, Michael Brady, as he performs the last three piano sonatas of the classical composer, Franz Schubert.

Written at the end of Schubert's life of 31 years, these works combine lyric beauty with profound emotional depths. Michael has described these sonatas as "ultimately life-affirming, as though Schubert is reminding us once again that it's not about the destination, it's all about the journey and the joys and camaraderie along the way." For Mr. Brady, performing these works has become an outlet for a deep grief rooted in the HIV epidemic—a grief that had gone quiet over the years, only to resurface during the COVID-19 crisis.

This event is presented in partnership with Methow At Home, Methow Pride, and the Give Methow Campaign, with all proceeds benefiting Methow At Home and the Give Methow “Give to All” Campaign.
