Wine tasting

Imagine getting away for one, two or three days in late June to:

sunshine and mountains ...
a confluence of two rivers ...
a gentle breeze in the ponderosa pines ...
and a small old-time western town ...

for a celebration of Washington wine!

Come join us in Winthrop for Wine in the Park and a series of wine events throughout the weekend and the valley.

Wine in the Park - (Saturday June 20, 2-6 pm) - More than a tasting   ...

We can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon in June than sipping Washington's own wines, in a park by the Methow River, while listening  to live mellow jazz music by the Lynette Westendorf Quartet, with Jim Knodle (trumpet), Roger Vandivort (bass) and Mike Conrad (drums).

At the Winthrop Wine Festival's Wine in the Park event, you will:
• Savor wines from Washington State boutique wineries
• Relax to soft jazz
• Enjoy hors d-oeuvres, cheese, fruits, and chocolate (and fresh brewed gourmet coffee
• Meet the winemakers
• Come away with a commemorative wine glass
• Purchase bottles of your favorite wines that you just tasted

• Meet Paula Christen, Winthrop Wine Festival's Celebrated Artist

Watch or participate in a hands-on art project with Methow Arts
• Watch or participate in a fly fishing casting demonstration hosted by some of the Methow Valley's finest fly fishing guides and shops*.
