Wine tasting

The 6th Annual Winthrop Wine Festival is a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon in the beautiful Methow Valley. Enjoy music, hors d’oeuvres, art, and more while tasting a selection of wines from Washington State wineries. Located by the scenic Methow River, the Winthrop Park is a great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful June day.

Wine in the Park: More than a tasting...Spend an enjoyable afternoon sipping Washington's own wines in the park by the beautiful Methow River.

Enjoy the classic jazz stylings of local trio Harmony Junction.

The Harmony Junction Jazz Trio plays music primarily taken from the Golden Age of American Song, focusing on such composers as Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Jerome Kern and other great composers of  that era.  On occasions the trio plays bee-bop and jazz from contemporary sources.  The Trio plays extensively in the Methow Valley as well as in other areas of Okanogan County for both public and private functions, and plays a monthly Jazz Night at the Twisp River Pub throughout the year.  The Trio consists of David Chavey Reynaud from Twisp (principle soloist - Tenor and Alto Saxophone); Maren Noyes from Omak (bass); and, Dick White from Winthrop (guitar).

This year for the Wine Festival, the trio will be joined by guest jazz violinist John Weeks from Twisp.  John's music skills and talents are widely known in Washington State and elsewhere in both modern and classical music circles and he makes a great addition to the trio.
