Wine tasting

Imagine getting away for one, two or three days in late June to:

sunshine and mountains ...
a confluence of two rivers ...
a gentle breeze in the ponderosa pines ...
and a small old-time western town ...

for a celebration of Washington wine!

Pianist, Lynette Westendorf
Musician, Lynette Westendorf

Come join us in Winthrop for Wine in the Park and a series of wine events throughout the weekend and the valley.

Wine in the Park - (Saturday June 19, 2-6 pm) - More than a tasting   ...

Other than wine tasting in the Park, our 2010 Wine Festival schedule of events are yet to be determined.  Stay tuned for updates.

We can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon in June than sipping Washington's own wines, in a park by the Methow River, while listening  to live mellow jazz music by the Lynette Westendorf Quartet, with Jim Knodle (trumpet), Roger Vandivort (bass) and Mike Conrad (drums).

At the Winthrop Wine Festival's Wine in the Park event, you will:
• Savor wines from Washington State boutique wineries
• Relax to soft jazz
• Enjoy hors d-oeuvres, cheese, fruits, and chocolate (and fresh brewed gourmet coffee
• Meet the winemakers
• Come away with a commemorative wine glass
• Purchase bottles of your favorite wines that you just tasted
