This magical holiday celebration begins Thanksgiving weekend and marks the beginning of the Christmas season for the Methow Valley citizens and it's many visitors.  Family and friends come from afar to join in and share this wondrous time of year.

An Old Fashioned Cowboy Christmas!

Join us for a weekend of holiday spirit in true Western tradition. 

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25:

  • 3 pm - Storytelling at the Trail's End Bookstore.  
  • 5 pm - Night Glow by Morning Glory Balloon Tours. 

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26:

  • Spring Creek Bridge Grand Opening -

    The Spring Creek Bridge on the Susie Stephens Trail is complete. Please join us to celebrate this great addition to our Town. We’ll gather at the Winthrop Ice Rink starting at 10:30am and then make the short walk to the bridge for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11am.
  • Noon - Santa arrives!
  • 1-4 pm - Children's Winter Fest (at the Barn).

  • 5 pm -  Town Lighting

  • 7 pm -  Cowboy Christmas Show with Lauralee Northcott & Friends (at the Barn - $5 donation).

Huge Fireworks Show !!!

This celebration originated by the local merchants as a way to thank everyone for their patronage throughout the year.  This year, the fireworks continue to be a celebration of members of the valley by members of the valley.  Come participate in this spectacular wintertime celebration.
